Anyone who has ever worked in the music business knows how difficult it can be, especially for a 30 year old upstart like reverend. Competing with Fender and Gibson can be a tough gig, and our clients at Reverend were ready to explore a new approach.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND PAID SEARCH
Reverend already had a loyal following on Facebook and Instagram, but we saw a trend that suggested there was an untapped opportunity with our millennial musicians. We used the targeting tools through Facebook and instagram in introduce the reverend brand to musicians who may not have considered a premium instrument before, driving them to the artist and product pages. Then we leveraged the retargeting capabilities of Google Ads to help motivate a purchase at music shops near them.
RESULTS
Within the first 60 days of running our campaign we saw page engagement increase by nearly 20% and we tracked a 200% increase in goal conversions on Google Ads. In the months that followed we were able to correlate an increase in orders that correspond with the cities we targeted with our campaigns.
